Pop Sonnet #170

Do you ever fear your own power
Haunt me for days on end
Hard for me to take a shower
When I've been on the bend

Store up your treasures in heaven for sure
Unless your home is your castle
Don't cheat your way in, it will end in a blur
Never good at sports, I can't wrestle

But there may be a jealous old flame
That doesn't deserve any blame
Because of course the noticeable dame
Have manners if that is all the same

So if you live on the land
Be sure to lend us a hand

Pop Sonnet #171

I'm getting the shakes from the cold
A story driven assignment narrative
I just don't think I'm as bold
Unless there is a way to live

To the fullest, when I have a planner
To take my keys to the store
I'm not getting any tanner
Pale as a ghost I yearn for much more

Frustration is a fact of life
My cab driver watched my first film
But I may not need a new wife
And I've got to keep swallowing pills

At the library I can read
And I may get scared of the speed

Pop Sonnet #172

Worn thin, I am discussing immune
Without a spotty festoon
The trick to stealing the rune
Is to find the spice on the Dune

And if I see a cartoon
Bad karma is now in the moon
And surf's up for digging balloons
Unless there's a spike in my loon

So don't walk under a ladder
Unless we all nitter aatter
And wipe the crimes from the spatter
Cancer may kill a big batter

So keep up the position of time
Don't need any rewards in this line

Pop Sonnet #173

If I sent a friend a crystal skull
Would it panic me to break it
Into pieces of rings for a scroll
And marry us off, we can fake it

So any way if your having a gasm
There's important things to care for
Be careful when crossing the chasm
A slippery way to the door

I am afraid to get out
No one drives safe in this town
Unless my faith is in doubt
So we'll prove we love animals now

Unless everything gets stolen
I guess that's how we are rolling

Pop Sonnet #174

Empty my thoughts filled with lead
Wonder if there is wonder bread
It's okay if you were born inbred
And someone might even try to fill my head

So there's practical plans to get cleaner
But when the hopeless die young
I am feeling a bit more keener
And I know I've already been stung

So just roll along, I dare you
To bum a cig or two from a friend
The love always applies in shot two
The days seem to just never end

But there's no quick fix situation
There's no reason to have lots of hatin'

Pop Sonnet #175

It's hard to be such a noob
When freelancing pays no bills
I will laugh if they take me and rube
At least I have some mad skills

So get in or get out, it's not Christmas
Except money still makes us all nervous
So just hang on to the things that are fitness
To most pain, I'm nearly impervious

No one can predict all the weather
Time to go back to where I am from
In case it's okay to win tether
The performance has left us all stunned

As long as it is experimental
I still have to pay for my dental

Pop Sonnet #176

Sometimes it is hard to watch movies
Or read books, or recite for the crowd
Should I be detached from the groovy
Feeling that cults are allowed

But who needs a jump start in Summer
When Winter has taken it's toll
And I think I may wind up with a bummer
Unless I slow down my roll

So take care of the ones that you love
And Mother Earth is above
And if you are cold wear your glove
It's not nice to push and to shove

So remain as empty as a good book by Chris
And you won't have to tell us the things that you miss

Pop Sonnet #177

If there's money for someone else
That's okay by me
I have priorities to be guilty for welts
In the scariest of memory

So if life is a rush to the finish
And the game I eat is cornish
I can barely understand Flemish
Subtitles are often in Greewich

So stop lying, unless it protects you
From shattering the world's most profound discovery
There's always someone better it's true
Unless daughters don't need to see

So keep on bluffing
And we'll keep on stuffing

Pop Sonnet #178

No one on Earth deserve's to die
Better be sure about that it's just fun
To keep on the mostly dead writer's eye
And light up a candle, do try

Because I am not abandoning my culture
If it is sex and drugs and all that
I might get attacked by a vulture
That is a matter of fact

So don't need a title at all
Sorry I lied it was a bad call
At least now I have been blackballed
By my own stupid handling of scrawl

But if you can read the writing on the wall
Just admit it that you are not very tall

Pop Sonnet #179

Be truthful, courageous and diligent
Sometimes it's okay to get bent
Just see what prizes been sent
And wear disguises when feeling the lent

No worries, no fear, no escape
No exits no time to get raped
And assume the position is taped
When all your windows are draped

Insurance for me is important
Through floods and snow and sleet
Churches will fill you with potent
Lessons or really should I be?

In case no one else write's these sonnets
I'll keep on carrying bonnets
