Pop Sonnet #290
My little sister is happy today after last night's total eclipse
The road I've walked is long and cold, full of misery and desire
Loneliness across town, when there's jobs and kissable lips
Floodgates pressure us in this valley to make sure that it is required
To slowly walk as slow as we can when returning to our home
To make sure that there is a new plan to catch the frosty scone
And to race around the shopping mall to find the place that is honed
In case there's so much more to do in life then to watch channels groaned
To make a case for offering is a place to place a check
No one cares how much I write, long as I'm not in a wreck
My eyes are like snowglobes, when they shake all I see are specks
Into the research we do dive into the lost vortex
Just to make sure there's not more to do is all I've double checked
Just to make sure there is more today and what is coming next?
Pop Sonnet #291
Upset frustration at the news that we are getting a pet
I know this sort of thing should not be causing an upset
And if I probably need the company than I'll let
It's not like I am rich enough to drive a turbo vet
Check my bases is all I intended to do
Returning that which is lost
Make time to look out for you
Making sure my food is all sauced
Saucy hours of boarding school
Where it feels like we all go to die
Following following the old fool
And damages where I should sigh
An empty frame of an angry culture of lost and paranoid
Of course the time I spent over there I have totally enjoyed
Pop Sonnet #292
I feel like I'm racing way too fast with nothing as my goal
Nothing to be asked for when I make it across this scroll
The internet is a lonely place unless my mission's told
To simply wake up and warm up and stay out of the cold
So get hungry and empty both at once, not an option here
In case my addiction is harmless, as harmless as a girl's tear
Asunder plunge the ring of fire that plugs into the gear
And making sure that the day is waxing on into the fear
Because it hurts no to be right or to be wrong or neither one
And never take an empty case of everything that is done
And lean into your understanding all the time when it is June
Simply memorize the samo shit when we dance with a broom
And making it last as best as I can is what I seem to be
I don't really mind the incessant lies of all the old ladies
Pop Sonnet #293
Getting lost in a place you know the directions in is funny
Get out of my car and walk in the dawning dreams are very runny
And it looks like today may actually be all kinds of sunny
And I'm afraid that the tar in my lungs is as sticky as honey
So please please get in my way get in front of me
I don't have a short fuse
And as I make this plea
Just remember to reuse
The simple times for simple minds
And that is not an insult
The mystical and decent finds
Mystifiable as an adult
Fill the bowls with desired food
And everything will turn out good
Pop Sonnet #294
Attitude and serenity are everything we look for
Don't know which Cremaster I love best, probably number four
And I feel so very rocked so rocked down to the core
Just keep it up and look around and continue to explore
Because life should seem easy for everyone
But it is always a constant test
I think that this words are overdone
In case the house is blessed
With the root of peace at it's very core
And relieving the false pressurizer
And common to take out the folklore
Wishing sometimes I still had a vaporizer
Because the tube goes into your lungs again
Mine are filled with so much then
Pop Sonnet #295
Time is ticking ticking so slow and fast
It's impossible to keep track
Of whether or not I'm coming in last
And this work feels like a hack
Of nothing but the same few words or are they sometimes different
Nothing but the same few words
Making sure sometimes it's dissidence
That controls the flow of the flirtation
When expert advice comes down
Off the cross that kills the Lord
Who's beast is in the round
Last night I slept so short
And waking up over and over praying to go back to sleep
The memories of dream land are good enough to keep
Pop Sonnet #296
If Hegel were here he'd delete all my work
And force me to start again
Because he'd accuse me of being a jerk
And to hell he would send
But if I have to go down to the pit
And break everybody out
That would make for an interesting hit
To condone without a doubt
And feeling the thinly veiled
And being out jailed
and Poisoned in the failed
Still smoother than the sailed
Just fight to the finish and cease fire
When the emperor has a short wire
Pop Sonnet #297
Coming into the last time
Fight for another clear sky
Until I feel this important stime
It's okay to cry
Because emotions evolve by the seconds
And rise and fall in a heartbeat
It's like the train records
Pulling giant cars for the treat
Of the corner the corner in wheat
And cleaning up the street
Looking at the music on a sheet
And hopefully not to defeat
If you furrow your brow
I think I can allow
Pop Sonnet #298
The pressure is fricking on
To rise before the new dawn
And handle hair for the gone
And recording my perfect John
The bathroom is where I go
When I am going to slow
And combing up my old fro
To subjectively kind of know
How the downcast really do feel
But they enjoy all their meals
When others take over the wheels
Still have pain in my heels
For women rule the whole Earth again
The last thing we need is more men
Pop Sonnet #299
Never stop loving your family
Your friends and your lovers too
God will want you to arrange these
priorities to fit you
And now I am truncated
To abbreviate for the day
Is anyone edjumacated
Judicially is the way
Sustain the notes for awhile
And keep them all in a file
Going out with minimal style
And getting lazy for smiles
And that's all in days work again
You should not go where I've been
